Life is hard.
There. I said it.
There was a time when I was so hurt and discouraged that all I could pray was, “God, draw me close to you.” Over and over and over again.
If I am God’s daughter, then why am I suffering so much? Where’s the relief?
And in that moment, I had my break-through:
Despite my difficult circumstances, God is still 100% holy.
In painful moments, God is still 100% sovereign.
And in terrible situations, God is still 100% good.
Hello! I’m Cheryl and I write love stories where either the guy or gal (or both!) encounters a hardship which forces them to take another look at God, to examine faith.
And where there are no cookie-cutter answers. No miracles. Prayers aren’t answered.
But in the midst of hardship, they meet God, who loves His creation so much He sent His Son to die in order that they could be restored to God, their Creator, their Everlasting Father.
Now, that’s a romance story!
